LINDSEY KARLSEN, BSN RN
Nurse
Hello, I’m Lindsey, one of the nurses you’ll meet when you walk through the clinic door. I am so thankful for the privilege of serving at Main Street Family Medicine alongside such caring, wise, kind-hearted people.
I graduated from Clark College with my Associates of Science in Nursing and Washington State University- Vancouver with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I started off working in long-term care in Friday Harbor as a bedside nurse and then as Director of Nursing. I have been working in acute care in the hospital for the past several years. Some fun nurse-y things I do in my free time are being camp nurse, volunteering at New Heights Clinic, and being a medical director for a marathon.

I grew up in Battle Ground and am blessed to have such a great community of friends and family in the area. I enjoy getting outside in the beautiful PNW, whether it’s hiking, camping, and playing sports or just sitting on the back deck drinking coffee.

I am excited for the opportunity to serve at Main Street Family Medicine. After working in a small tight-knit community, I began to really value care that was provided by someone who knew that person and had a trusting relationship built up. Healthcare overall has become so systemized and impersonal in many institutions so I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of a healthcare community that truly values that personal connection and trusting relationships.
