July at Main Street Family Medicine: Celebrating Summer & New Beginnings

Summer is in full swing, and at Main Street Family Medicine, we're excited to share a few updates while helping you and your family stay safe this season.

As you celebrate the Fourth of July, remember to practice firework safety. Always supervise children, keep a safe distance when lighting fireworks, have water nearby, and never use fireworks while impaired. A few simple precautions can help ensure everyone enjoys a fun and safe holiday. Please note that our office will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. For non-urgent needs, feel free to leave us a voicemail or send an email, and we'll get back to you when we reopen.

We're also excited to welcome Jacob Lease, PA-C, to the Main Street Family Medicine team! Jacob brings a passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care and is committed to partnering with patients to help them reach their health goals. We know he'll be a wonderful addition to our clinic, and we look forward to introducing him to our patients.

Finally, we're proud to celebrate the release of Messy Mourning: Hope for Mothers Grieving the Loss of a Child by Suicide, written by our very own Jackie Baker. Through personal experience, biblical wisdom, and compassionate encouragement, Jackie offers hope and support to mothers navigating unimaginable loss. The book releases July 9, and is available for preorder now.

Thank you for being part of the Main Street Family Medicine family. We hope you have a safe, healthy, and joyful summer!
